Trees are being sold in the parking lot of the Dorval Crossing shopping centre at the southeast corner of North Service Road and Dorval Drive. On hand to help unload the 575 trees to be sold were the Junior Optimists and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corp Oakville. The cadets help out as a thank-you for the nancial support they receive from the Optimist Club. Also there to assist was Mac McDonald, 95. The Oakville man is a 60-year (joined in 1955) member of the Optimist Club of Oakville, who still helps each year with the tree sale, and has done so for 50 years. He recalls when it was held in a school parking lot downtown and trees were bought for a dollar and sold for $2. | photo by Graham Paine Oakville Beaver (Follow on Twitter @halton_photog or facebook.com/HaltonPhotog) · HOME · AUTO · LIFE · BUSINESS · AV I AT I O N T H E M A G N E S G RO U P I N C . 1540 Cornwall Rd., Suite #100, Oakville, ON L6J 7W5 Tel: 905-845-9793 Fax: 905-845-9149 www.magnesgroup.com END INSURANCE CONFUSION.
