Crash believed to have medical cause by Graham Paine Oakville Beaver Staff 15 | Thursday, November 12, 2015 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com A male driver was rushed to hospital after his car crashed into the front porch of a house in Oakville Sunday evening. Emergency services were called to Mary Street, a quiet residential street in the Dorval and Speers Road area, shortly before 5 p.m. CPR performed Firefighters and paramedics performed CPR on the man for several minutes on the lawn beside the vehicle before rushing him to the hospital. Neighbours who witnessed the rescue efforts unfold reported the driver, believed to be in his 60s, to be a resident of the street. They said they believed he lives just a few doors down from where his vehicle crashed into the porch. Cause believed to be medical in nature While the cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Halton Regional Police, a medical condition is being considered as a possible cause.
