Curves aids food banks
Halton Hills' two Curves fitness centre locations continued their annual tradition by hosting very successful food drives recently, which helped to replenish the shelves of the two local food banks. Left photo: Curves Acton donated 650 pounds of food to Acton FoodShare, with (from left) regional manager Evelyn Bazos, manager Sandy Collins and circuit coach Delina Brown gathering up the collection. Right photo: Curves in Georgetown donated their collection to the Georgetown Bread Basket, located at 55 Sinclair Ave. On hand for the presentation were (from left), Curves staffer Annette Ryan, manager Val Leachman, Nancy Heinmiller of the Georgetown Bread Basket and Jennifer Harvey of Curves.
