Buzzed for Ben
Despite rainy, windy weather, the Buzz For Ben managed to raise $1,500 Saturday for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. The brainchild of 10-year-old Noah MacDonald, (at left getting his hair cut by Mandy Dixon of Mandy's Hair Creation) the group hair-cutting event, which also included a barbecue, was staged outside the M&M Meat Shop in Acton to raise funds for MacDonald's cousin, Ben, who suffers from MD. Noah and brothers (above, from left) Aaron, 7, Jesse, 9, and twins Jonah and Elijah, 3, had their locks shorn and encouraged others to get clipped for $10 each. Photos by Shawn McAlpine
