Book sale: Loads of books for sale, 8 a.m. to noon at 58 Moore Park Cres. with proceeds to the Upper Credit Humane Society. Lemon'aid' stand by Robyn and Erin too. Come out and help this great cause. Food bank raffle: The Georgetown Bread Basket will be having mini raffles at the Georgetown Farmers Market. These raffles are donations from the business community of Georgetown. All proceeds will go to the food bank. Euchre: is held every Saturday night at the Hornby Co-operative Nursery School on Steeles Ave. at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Bruce Trail hike: an 8 km hike on the Scotsdale/Silvercreek Loop. Meet at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot between Zellers and the grey medical services building by the tall light standard.
