Co-workers and management agree that although the style of uniform has changed a great deal through the course of Catherine `Kay' Siberson's 43 years of nursing at Georgetown Hospital, the smile on her face hasn't. The P.E.I. native was honoured at a retirement reception last week at the hospital and was presented with a certificate of appreciation by Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette. Kay outlasted several CEOs during her stay and had the uncanny knack for remembering the names and ailments of patients who stayed at the hospital decades ago-- even showing up in full dress on her wedding day to check on things.
