Full Text

A writing critique club has been started at the Georgetown branch of the Halton Hills library. This is a monthly meeting of writers-- poets, lyricists, novelists, short story writers, scriptwriters, journalist-- professional, amateur or wannabe. Group members help each other polish their craft on one Saturday each month. It includes sharing new markets, members' successes, and critiquing each others' work constructively. The rules are: There shall be no fees, ever. Politeness is mandatory, though scathing criticism, politely delivered, is allowed. So that no participant need self-censor, no one under 18 will be allowed to attend regular meetings. A chairperson shall be elected each December and serve for one year. Advisory: This group will be for people who take their craft seriously. If you are interested, contact Michael Crawley, 905-873-9658 or craw-clay@primus.ca
