Quote, unquote "I don't feel I've been in the job long enough to have made a significant difference, but I feel I'm on my way to doing a number of things." ·"I don't know if people are more cynical. I think they're upset with what's gone on in Ottawa." ·"I think the way the GTA has grown over the last 30 years has been completely economically and environmentally unsustainable. We've got to change that." ·"I think (party leader Stephen Harper) has matured as a political leader... I think he's just the tonic the country needs." ·"The real threat to national unity is the re-election of a Liberal government."
If we do form a minority government three things will happen. First, western alienation will be completely addressed. (Secondly) Quebecers will realize they have another option, a federalist option, not tainted by sponsorship scandal. (Thirdly) our party will pour all of our resources as a party into Quebec into rebuilding the party in that province for the subsequent election."
