Tom was a well-known organist who had played at St. Paul's United Church in Dundas, Knox Presbyterian Church in Oakville, St. Dominic's Parish in Oakville, and Beth Jacob Synagogue in Hamilton. He had been a longtime member of the Niagara and Southwestern Ontario Branch and received recognition for his service in Canada by the United Kingdom Royal School of Church Music.
