Beloved wife of Harry for almost 67 years, who predeceased her in 2011. Much loved mother of Barbara, Janet, Philip, Andrew, Frances, Louise, Helen (d. 2006), Susan and Sylvia. Grandmother to 29 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 24 greatgrandchildren. Margaret was an active volunteer in church and local activities, including the I.O.D.E and the Oakville Historical Society, the latter where she served for many years as its archivist. She was awarded the Lieutenant-Governor's Ontario Heritage Award recognizing her sustained volunteer contributions over a period of over 25 years. Margaret was a longstanding member of both the Friends of Blue Society and the Spode Society, and was renowned for her extensive collection of antique blue and white Spode china.
