- Died in Paisley. Mr. Josiah Bailey, who formerly worked as a blacksmith for Mr. Thos. Jenkins here, died at his home in Paisley on Wednesday of last week, after a brief illness of pneumonia. The deceased was in his 36th year, and leaves a wife and two young children. He leaves seven brothers to mourn his loss, amongst whom are Arthur of Fergus, Ed. of Paisley and Isaac and Thomas of Eden Grove. The remains were interred in Douglas Hill cemetery on Friday. He was a temperate, industrious young man and his demise is regretted.
