It will carry traf c underneath the Lakeshore West GO and VIA Rail lines to make traf c ow more ef ciently and potentially safer on Burloak Drive at the Oakville/Burlington border. Terence Young, Conservative incumbent and recent Oakville MP and Pickering-Scarborough East representative Corneliu Chisu, were out on Burloak Drive Friday to announce the federal government and the Province would invest the money for the underpass. With GO trains currently blocking traf c on Burloak Drive every 30 minutes and plans in place to eventually have GO trains on the line running every 15 minutes, Young noted this is an important infrastructure investment to make.
