Marguerite was born September 1, 1932, in Milton, Ontario, the daughter of Esther and Frederick Stringer. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Donald and David, and her beloved husband Joseph. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons David (Ellen), Joseph (Cecilia), Anthony (Sandra), and John (Melanie), her grandchildren Andrea (Darren), Sherry (Kevin), Jade, Matthew, Trent and Michael, and her great-grandchildren Lauren, Luke and Abigail. A long-time resident of Oakville, Marguerite enjoyed reading, walking, painting, and especially spending time with her family. We will sorely miss her fabulous pies. Marguerite's best friend and soul-mate was Joe, her husband for more than 55 years, and we are happy that she is with him again. Cremation has taken place. Condolences through www.koprivataylor.com l Obituaries l Obituaries WILLEY, Douglas Allen, 61 It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Douglas "Doug" Allen Willey, who passed away on July 17, 2015 at the age of 61. Doug is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Lynn Willey. He is remembered by two loving sons, Bryan Willey and Kevin Willey, as well as his devoted partner Rebecca Schorr. Doug was born on October 21, 1953 in Montreal, and after attending university, he travelled to Winnipeg and lived there for four years. Following some time in Missisauga, he settled in Oakville where he raised his family. He was passionate about golfing, spending almost every weekend on the course. Winters were spent curling, having skipped his Senior Men's team to the regional playdowns in 2013 and provincial Master Men finals in 2014. He served as President of the Oakville Curling Club in 1989-90, and inspired children with curling lessons for a number of years. We sincerely thank the compassionate team in the ICU at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital during the last week of his life. There will be a memorial/celebration of his life on August 15, 2015 from 2-4pm at the Oakville Curling Club, 224 Allen St., Oakville.
