Advancing national, provincial auto manufacturing policy My T View his fall, the Ontario Auto Mayors plan to meet with Ontario Economic Development Minister Brad Duguid to discuss the development and implementation of an advanced automotive manufacturing policy. This summit meeting with the minister is a great step towards achieving our goal to the development and implementation of a national and provincial advanced automotive manufacturing policy. The creation of this policy will ultimately advance the automotive sector in Canada and Ontario. Recently, Ray Tanguay was appointed as Chair of the new Canadian Automotive Partnership sub-committee. He can provide the government with key automotive information on trends and threats in the sector.
