Notes: Buried. A resident of Underwood for almost 50 years, Wilfred Abbs died on Tuesday of last week at the home of his nephew, Arnold Hammond, at the age of 74 years. He was a bachelor and the only surviving member of the family. A brother, Wilmot, predeceased him a year ago. The funeral was held from the home of his nephew and services were conducted by Rev. A. A. S. Smith, of Wesley United Church. Interment was in Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
