This year's pageant tells the tale of Red Jacket (Sagoyewatha), a Seneca chieftain who fought for the United States in the American Revolution. Red Jacket was later awarded with a medal for bravery by President George Washington.
The production also depicts Red Jacket's fight with the Ogden Land Company to keep his band's land. The land eventually became the Seneca Reserve outside Buffalo, N.Y.
The production features 12 main characters and about 30 to 40 extras. All the actors are from the Six Nations Reserve.
A group of native dancers from the Six Nations will perform.
Also on display will be a reproduction of an ancient Indian village, showing domestic activities and the history of early Indian culture.
