As a result, the Mennos had a short stay in the tournament. They fell 7-0 to the eventual champion Oshawa Rebels in their first game. The following game, the Mennos faced tournament finalist Kars Aces (Ottawa) and fell 6-0. Byron Baranieski gave ufi 13 hits while striking out six batters to take the loss for the Rebels. Greg Dalgamo started on the rubber for the Mennos and took the loss.
