- Description
- "Close to 75 years ago Canada bade a sad farewell to Pauline Johnson, the poet and entertainer who had touched the hearts and minds of Canadians from coast to coast. Looking through the finles of Canadian newspapers and magazines of March, 1913, gives one the impression that all Canada was in mourning. And it is interesting to note that the prevailing tone of the reports was that Pauline would be remembered and her fame would grow in the years to come."
