Alvin Bumby Honoured at Bronte Society Meeting
Mr. Alvin Bumby was presented last week with the Ontario Horticultural Service Diploma at Hopedale Presbyterian Church at the April Meeting of the Bronte Horticultural Society.
He has been an active member of the Society for a decade having served as President for six years.
Beautification of sections of the Parks and landmarks is of vital interest to him.
Members enjoyed a panel on gardening--asking many questions of the four experts -
Monthly flower competition was active and beginners were especially welcomed and their entries much admired. Mrs. L.O. Woolford (past president) acted as Judge.
