Another old resident of Caistor passed away quite suddenly on Monday, June 26th in the person of Lafferty Lymburner. Deceased was born in Caistor on December 14th, 1842, son of the late James and Rebecca Lymburner. In 1899 he married Mary Lounsbury who predeceased him 23 years ago. Deceased was one of a family of 10 children of whom only two sisters survive, Mrs. Sarah Jane Lymburner, of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Amelia Park of Caistor. He was the fifth member of the family to die in less than three years. The funeral, which was largely attended, was held from his late residence at the home of Murray Lymburner on Wednesday afternoon to Dockstader cemetery for burial. Services at the house and grave were conducted by Rev. Mr. Pletch of Attercliffe Station. The pallbearers were: Aaron Merritt, Palmer Merritt, Adam Beamer, Andrew McCready, Albert Beatty and George Cosby.
