WASTING ANAEMIA. a trouble that afflicts thousands of young girls--cured by dr. William's pink pills._ Dr. Williams' Pink Pills do only one thing, but they do it well. They fill the veins with new, rich, red health-giviDg blood, which drives away all traces of anaemia, headache, backache, palpitation, nervousness, eli'z'ness and despondency. The new blood they make brightens dull last-less eyes, and brings the rosy gle-- of health to pale cheeks. In cirri anaemia Dr. Williams' Pink Pills ct the foundation of consumption well. The new blood they actually make gives new strength and vigor to every organ in the body, and enables 't to fight whatever disease attacks it. That is why they are the best medicine in the world for girls in their teens--or women in middle life-- to all those whose blood is weak, watery or impure. Miss Mazy E. Pratt, Blyth, Ont. gives strong^testimony to the value of these pills. ' She says: "I was sufferer for oyer a year with anaemi ,s completely run down, had fi quent headaches,- spells of dizziness, and palpitation of the heart. I tored all summer and was. no better when I began. I had practically given up all hope of finding a when my brother advised me to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. I got four boxes and when I had taken them I so much better that I got boxes more, end before I had taken all these I was completely cured. nore thankful than I can say for what the pills have done for me but for them I would not be enjoying good health to-day. I strongly urge all weak girls to give Dr. Willi Pink Pills a fair trial." Miss Pratt's experience proves the alno of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills " yery weak and ailing person. These pills can be had from any "medicine dealer oi by mail from the Dr. Wits' Medicine Co., Brockville, Ont., at 50c. a box or six boxes for $2.50. ; The Equity Life of Canada RUSSIAN CRUI8ER SAVES LIVES. Colllngwoocf, July 4.--A drowning ac ejdent was narrowly averted yesterday by the presence of mind of an 8-year-old boy and his two brothers, aged 4 Tho three boys, sons of Policeman Wlllison, went down to the town park on the lake shore about 18 o'clock, and the two older boys went In for a swim, and taking their little brother with them on a raft. There was a severe strong wind blowing off shore and before the little fellows were aware of H they were drifting out Into the lake. Some one discovered their clothes, and a searching party was organized. The little, fellows were given up for lost, but as a forlorn hope a launch was secured and steamed out into the bay. When darkness was coming on they caught sight of a tiny speck and made for it. The three boy* were still cltnglng the raft, which was becoming heavier as they went out. They were nearly ten miles from The Presbyteria played their first game in LaKeport on Thursday evening last and succeeded in defeating the Lakeport nine by a score of 13 runs. The Colborne boys got right after the Lakeport twirlers and hit them up to the tune of 18 runs.' The hits he allowed were few and well scattred only five ot Manage; Dewey's pets crossing the home plate. Col borne; Smith and Gale. --Mr. J. H. McClellan, Superintend ont of the Trent Canal, states that he-has received many complaints with reference to the high water in the back lakes, but that, while the owners of islands are kicking, the lumbermen, navigators and manufacturers are better satisfied than ever. It is pointed out tiiat if it were not for some of these industries many a mail who spends his summer at Stoned-Lake would not be able to%lo so olkerwjse, and it is advisable that a constant and adequate flow of water be assured all the year round.
