Readens Corner Imm Hospital staff-excellent Dear Editor:- My daughter was at public skating at Milton Memorial Arena enjoying the last day of March Break. Unfortunately, she was knocked over, and she fractured her clavicle (which we didn't know at the time). She was in a lot of pain later in the evening, so 1 took her to the Milton District Hospital emergency department. That's my reason for writing. 1 just wanted to say thank you to the staff in emnergency. Too often we hear complaints about wait times and poor hos- pital experiences. We were in and out of emergency in less than two hours on a very busy Friday night, and the staff were pleasant, helpful and genuinely caring. In particular, a nurse helped my very upset daughter to un- derstand and cope with what's now a huge change in her. activities-of-daily-living routine. The nurse also took the time to show us the x-rays when 1 asked, and explained themn to my daughter. Thank you to ail the staff in emnergency for continuing té smile through very busy times. lt's a littie thing, but it's very comfort- ing to people experiencing pain.
