He will be deeply missed by Eileen, his wife of 61 years, his daughters Karoline Fox, Kristine Fox and Konstance Allain (Fox), son-in-law Jeff Allain and his grandchildren, Karly and Blake. Karl was born in 1927 in Vienna, Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1951 where he cultivated an exceptional business career holding progressively senior positions in the Steel Industry, completing his career as Vice President of Canadian Metal Rolling Mills. He enjoyed a long and joyful retirement spent traveling, playing tennis, badminton, bridge and poker and spending time with his family. Every day, rain or shine he walked the Bronte pier, the place he felt most peaceful. Karl's intellect, ethical approach to life and philosophical thoughts will be remembered. His love of music, photography, poetry and art will live on in his children. The family would like to express thanks to J.D. Milloy, M.D. and the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital with special thanks to the Reverend Sean Foster.
