Zelinski's latest exhibit will have large canvas photographs on display until July 7 at CJ's Café, 2416 Lakeshore Rd. W. There is a Meet the Artist event for the show at the Bronte café Sunday (June 7) from 2:30-4 p.m. The exhibit is "an intimate, visual story of the trees and rocks, the oceans and animals. It is also a document of the human condition spanning a 35-year period across seven continents of Earth," said Zelinski. "I've experienced many societies that lack the basics that we take for granted -- and children are always the most vulnerable," he continued. "I think we need to see the human race as a family, and it's exciting for me to use my photography books as a gift for children and a tool for charities who work to help people every day around the world." Donated books to charities Zelinski has donated 7,000 copies of three of his seven photography books to 100 charities throughout Canada and around the world, including in Haiti, Chile, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Togo, Uganda, Ethiopia, India, Nepal, Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia.
