CAMPBELLCROFT -Saturday, August 28th marked the commemorative ceremony of a 200-acre parcel of property donated to the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority by Edmond and Sylvia Vanhaverbeke in honour of Ed's mother Laura. The "Laura Vanhaverbeke Tract" was dedicated on her birthday with a small ceremony held on the property north-east of the Ganaraska Forest Centre, off of Cold Springs Camp Road. The 200-acre parcel in the centre of the Forest was previously in private ownership. It is now part of the 11,000-acre publiclyowned Ganaraska Forest. If you want to drink, that's your business.
