There seems to neyer be enough lime to, keep up with the reading but I love the issues and of cou rse, to be effective on your behaîf, 1 must read, listen (to constituents as well as opposition members) and speak up with informed view. Despite the time commit- ment, it is after ahl a privilege to have the opportunity to have ilnput into the reforms taking place in our province. 1 amn most interested in hearing your views (on either side of any issue). t is myjob to represent the opinions of ahl my con- stituents with the r esult being more accessible government., Thank you is aý term I find myself using over and over again. Rogers Cable'10 TV Show as well as meeting with groups and individuals. There are funda- mental changes taking place and we must each keep our eyes. and ears open as we address spending and taxation at every level. We must also be attentive to the many social issues facing us. Education and Health Care are by far stili the most important issues I hear about. Many people cali me to advise me on a variety of concemns. However, most peo- ple also realize that we cari no longer simply spend our way out of our problems. Each of us can no longer take more than we give, we must each take responsibility for our own lives. Nothing is free, someone some- where is paying for every service we have come to expect. Every visit to the doctor, the emer- gency room, our drugs. every sehool bus, and every elected officiai. YOU are paying. We each must do more with less.
