Regional tax payers are being levied an increase of 3.5 percent over that of 1992 which on average amounts to $15 a household. In actuality the budget was increased by 5.4 percent with a 1.9 reduction due to increased assessment within the Region during the yea r of 1992. The budget passed with no objection from counciilors.
