Sinclair was reacting to reports that General Motors wanted workers at its Windsor trim plant to parallel Canadian Holidays such as Canada Day and Thanksgiving to American Holidays. The Oshawa members of the CAW will not change holidays to meet American schedules, said Sinclair. Bugellie said the system could be started by negoiating pathways in- to subdivision agreements with developers.
