There was a large attendance. The regular meeting followed with nine members and many children present. The President conducted the meeting and Mrs. C. J. Mutton was in charge of the devotional period. Final plans were made for the spiing tea and sale of home cooking to be held at the home of Mrs. Lawrence Mutton on Wednesday, May 26. A committee was chosen "to select and buy new curtains for the school. Mrs. Robert Darke agreed to and and accepted the contract to paint the floor of the Church. The meeting closed and a light lunch was served. I BROWN'S CORNERS April 27th, 1954 Messrs. Bruce Jackson and Jim Sheppard attended Lodge in Brighton on Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Samis and Mr. Andy Mygen were in Port Hope on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. D. VanWicklin called on Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jackson on Sunday evening.
