Lacrosse Dalton Follows scored four times for the second time in as many outings this season, and Kyle Marr had three goals and six assists to lead the Buzz. Justin Inacio also had a hat trick and added a pair of assists, and Kyle Hebert shut out Orillia over the final 39 minutes to earn his first Jr. B win. Michael Dobko and Adam Wolfe both had two goals and three helpers. Also tallying for Oakville were Jimmy Shea, Julian Guay and Kyle Kolwich. The Buzz will host three games this weekend at TRAC: Brampton on Friday (8 p.m.), Nepean on Saturday (7 p.m.) and Gloucester on Sunday (2 p.m.). Sr. B Titans drop season opener The Ennismore James Gang scored seven consecutive goals in a 10-minute span to ruin the Oakville Titans' senior B lacrosse season opener Sunday at TRAC. Oakville trailed the contest 6-4 after allowing a goal with one second remaining in the second period. The James Gang then opened the third with six straight markers and cruised to a 12-7 victory. Travis Bland scored a goal and added three assists for the Titans, who scored three times in the final seven minutes to make the score more respectable. Todd Blaxam tallied twice and Sean Gillies, Todd Kozak, Reed Board and Brenden MacDonald added singles. Oakville will be back in action this Sunday at TRAC, when it hosts the Owen Sound North Stars for a 7 p.m. start. Jr. C Hawks' rally falls just short The Oakville Hawks nearly overcame an early 5-0 deficit in their Jr. C opener, falling 8-7 to the Halton Hills Bulldogs Monday in Georgetown. Dylon Maisonouve and Andrew DeRyck each notched hat tricks in a losing cause for the Hawks, who trailed 5-1 after one period and 7-2 through two. Patrick Gamble also scored, with Dale Stevens and Kyle Kolwich both collecting three assists. "The guys came out flat for their first game," said Hawks general manager Paul DeRyck. "The second and third period, they started to find their groove." The Hawks host Mimico tonight (Thursday) at Glen Abbey Recreation Centre, an 8 p.m. start. Oakville Blue Devils midfielder Filepe Vilela leaps over a slide tackle from Sanjaxx Lions defender Tony Montalbano Sunday at Sheridan College Stadium. "I couldn't find any court space to rent," says Neale. "My options were at 10 p.m. at the Hershey Centre (in Mississauga) or 7 a.m. somewhere." Neale says school gyms don't satisfy the need of area basketball teams for game and practice times, noting community groups and other sports associations use the facilities as well. Some Oakville Basketball Club teams, he says, have had to practise out of an Oakville factory where 15 basketball nets are set up on posts. If things go according to Neale's plan, basketball court time soon won't be an issue anymore. The 52-year-old builder hopes to soon break ground on a $7-million multi-sport indoor complex located on Cornwall Road east of Ford Drive, approximately one kilometre from his southeast Oakville home.
