Three Men Killed at the Niagara Niagara Fal.'s the most serious their commencement occurred yesterday morning. Three men are dead and three are injured. The dead are George Hiller of tiiis city, and two Hungarians. The scene of the accident, was the wheel pit of the Canadian Niagara Power Company, which is being put down by Dawson & Ililey of St. Catharines. At 7 o'clock the men were going down into the pit to work as usual. Five Hungarians and George Hiller got into the skip and were lowered by the steam crane. Hiller was a pumpman, and the skip was to let him off at the staging 50 feet from the bottom of the pit. The skip was attached to the hoisting rigging by a steel hook at the back and a chain in front. When the skip rested on the platform the chain became unhooked. When the engine was started the back of the skip was pulled up and the men slid out and fell to the floor of the pit, 10 feet below. One man clung to' the rigging and was drawn up with a broken arm. Most Dreadful of Skin Diseases A chronic case of Eczema of 30 years' standing cared by Dr. Chase's Ointment. That Dr. Chase's Ointment is a thorough cure for the most aggravated forms of itching skin disease is proven in hundreds of cases similar to the one described in the following letter. Mr. G. H. McConnell, engineer in Fleury's Foundry, Aurora, Ont., states :--"I believe that Dr. Chase's Ointment is worth its weight in gold. For about thirty years I was troubled with eczema, and could not obtain any owe. I was so unfortunate as to have blood poison, and this develgped into eczema, the most dreadful of skin diseases. " I was so bad that I would get up at night and scratch myself until flesh was raw and flaming. The torture I endured is almost beyond description, and now I cannot say anything too good for Dr. Chase's Ointment. It has cured me, and I recommend it because I know there is nothing so good for itching Dr. Chase's Ointment, 60 cents a box, at all dealers, or Edmanson, Bates and Co., Toronto.
