Clarence has returned from Almonte and. will spend this summer near Colbornc. Mr. Carlton Gill has had the misfortune to so injure his hand that he will be disabled for some time. It is hoped that he will soon he all right again. Mr. John Nobles and family have moved into their new home recently purchased from Mr. J. J. Hinman. It is hoped that all that makes a home joyous and bright may for long years be granted to them. The young people of the two churches are preparing for a series of Sunday evening services which are expected to he attractive and profitable. Mr. D. Harris has been visiting friends and relatives here. He expects soon to go near Ottawa where he is to take charge of a cbe»-8e factory On Tuesday of last week fire destroyed the dwelling >'.vned and occupied by Mr. C- Wait.
