A three-corner fight In Northumberland has not been unexpected from 1" first, and it is not a surprise to ! that Mr. Kerr has taken up 1 guage of battle at the urgent call Northumberland Liberals. He s a son of the late Senator William Kerr, K.C,, of Cobourg, bonnie fighter in his day, wBo proved his prowess in Northumberland under circumstances somewhat similar the present Election conditions. Mr. Kerr personally is well known to all the electors of the Riding. " is a graduate of Victoria College of which Institution his father was for many, years Vice-Chancellor. Mr. Kerr's Candidature in Northumberland is a challenge upon Straight Liberal principles and it for the party adherents to show whether or not they are satisfied to be displaced by V.IZ present n ment for Class Government. Apart from politics electors who are apposed to the National Progres sive party make this their first principle;, that Parliamentary representation must be of all the people and of their interests anc not of groups >r classes. This is the position that straight Liberals have always fought for.
