Mrs. Anderson, widow of the late James Anderson, and an old and esteemed resident, passed away at her home in Haldimand Tp., on Fridiy, Oct. 14th, 1921. PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH Next Sabbath, November the sixth, Anniversary Services will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Colborne. The Rev. S. W. Dyde, D.D., Principal of Queen's Theological College, Kingston, will preach both morning and evening. Dr. Dyde is a great favorite in Colborne, and doubtless large audiences will be present to hear this talented teacher and preacher. The Annual Thank-Offering will be taken at these Service's. There will be special music by the Choir, Mr. Pipher of the Presbyterian Church, Port Hope, a talented singer, will be present and sing both morning and evening. METHODIST CHURCH NOTES Next Sabbath morning the service will be unique because of the Quarterly Communion, Thanksgiving and Patriotic features, which combine in the one day. We urge parents especially to see that all members of their families are present. The Church will be decorated with the products of the forest and field. In the morning the pastor will speak on the theme, "The Enduring Christ". In the evening the Subject will he, "Good Old Thanksgiving Day". Everybody welcome. On Sunday, Nov. 13th, the Rev. The Ladies' Aid of the Methodist Church, Colborne, will hold their annual Bazaar and Chicken Pie Supper on Thursday, Dec. 8th. The ladies of the Colborne Baptist Church will hold a chicken pie supper in the basement of the church on Friday, Nov. 11th, 1921,--Armistice Day. The Chicken Pie Supper and Bazaar, under the auspices or the Willing Workers, of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14th, 1921.
