Janney was sentenced at I.ethbridge to two years in the penitentiary on a charge of issuing a worthless cheque for $100.00. Capt. Janney is the airman who left a ma-j echine in Colborne last year after putting on a mortgage to get himself out of a similar scrape 'with a Cobourg friend.
