A very sad accident occurred on Friday, 22nd April,. 1921, when Mr. Wesley Prout Wais delivering a load of wood for'Mr. D. Ferguson. As he was backing up the load he was caught by a clothes line which threw him over the front of the load onto the waggop tongue, and as the horses became frightened he fell on the ground and the waggon passed over his body, causing internal injuries from which he died Saturday morning. In the passing away of Mr. Prout our village loses a very respected resident. He had spent nearly all his life here and though past his 71st, birthday was still concuct-ing his safwmill and lumbering business with as much ambition as many young men. Much sympathy is expressed for his kind-hearted, faithful, life companion of some forty-eight years, who is so suddenly bereft, and for the family in the loss of a father. Mr. and Mrs. J.
