M, Field, K.C., was in Beleville having been appointed Crown Counsel by the Attorney General. The docket at the Assizes consisted of one "case of rape and one of attempted murder. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Davidson returned the first of the week from St. Petersburg, Florida, where they spent a couple of months. They report Mr. E. H. Osier well and enjoying the winter there as usual. Miss Myrtle Henderson, daughter or Mrs. Wm. Henderson, Cobourg, has accepted a position as Superintendent of the Charlotte Hungerford Memorial Hostpital at Tarringtown, Conn., where she has been assistant. Miss Muriel Winter, who has spent a week visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Winter, left yesterday to return to Toronto. Miss Winter has just, returned from a trip to the United States, where she also took a post graduate course in hospitals and visited many places of interest.
