the YSMHL has held an allstar game within its own division In past years an allstar team was selected from the league to play team from the TriCounty juvenile hockey league Six players from the Bar tournament to claim the Insurall Trophy and top pick of the prizes The Tom Richardson rink of Stroud finished second at the tournament only three quarters of point behind the winners Despite winning all three games the rink went home empty handed SET UP The tournament was set up so that there would be two three ame winners The team inishing with the most points won the Insurall Trophy The McDonald Trophy went to the team with most points who lost at least one game The Tom Merrett rink also of Barrie took top honors in that division They finished with 3814 points nine behind McDonoughs rink Fourteen teams took part in the tournament There were four teams from Barrie two from Cookstown two from Humber Highlands two from Port Carling and single teams from Stroud the Boulevard Club of Toronto and Stouffville TOP RINK McDonoughs winning rink included Anne Price Mark Fisher and Susan Sears The team romped to an easy 142 win over Betty Geelen in the opening game btit things got tougher after that In the so Cond draw they had to hand on to nip Glen Warnica of Barrie 86 and in the final round they edged Doug Hanson of Barrie 54 The Richardson rink which finished second included heryl Smurthwaite Bill Robertson and Brenda Home The rink beat Merrett tytl in the opening game In the se cond round Richardsons rink doubled Bob Wake of lumber Highlands tilt and in the
