was submitted by Steve Devesceri whose home is located on the second line across the road from the townships disposal area The petition includes 51 signatures and contains objec tions concerning Concession 11 being rezoned to Mt Industrial The petition claims air and forests are being polluted by smoke and gases from the dump and the charcoal plant The plant is located on line three and is just 3500 feet behind the Devesceri home ac cording to the owner Reeve Alex Finlay says special meeting will be set up to discuss the bylaw objections in the near future The owner of the charcoal plant were already in operation but he says both have increased in size since PUBLIC CONCERN Im not just doing this for my own concern Devesceri said Im concerned about all the people who are affected house building projects The township bylaw enforce ment officer Archie Wanless said two or three subdivisions are already on the go in the township and We dont want another subdivision in Flos The bylaws were officially passed by council May and township residents had until June 30 to register their objec tions Wanless said the bylaws are law until the OMB throws them out year by provincial
