become home to 24 Junior Rangers this summer The Junior Ranger program has been operated by the ministry of natural resources since 1944 As part of the governments plan to provide more employment for students this summer Hendrie will be made camp number 72 total of 1926 17ltyearold high school students from across Ontario have been selected for the program They will learn about the manage ment of natural resources through working locally the Junior Rangers will be involved in variety of tasks including park main tenance stream cleanup plan tation thinning and trail clear ing Camp Hendri is the
