nationally for violating civil rights The EDC bill would raise its maximum liability to $25 bil lion from $750 million in insur ing Canadian exports against failure by purchasers to pay Liability for government administered exports such as wheat would be increased to $1 billion from $750 million Trade Minister Jean Chretien who answers for the corporation in the Commons said growing competition and uncertainties of international trade are increasing the demand for insurance The EDC helps finance Cana dian products and services ex ported to selected countries FINANCING WORRIES Sinclair Stevens Con servative financial critic said the corporations financial structure should be cause for concern in Parliament The corporations foreign customers are $61 million in default on payments and
