attendance at the service The Gilford 411 is now into their summer project called Outdoor Living The 11 girls taking the course decided to call themselves The Gilford Crafty Campers Their leaders Mrs Mavis Hughes and Mrs Lorna Atkins are teaching the girls such things as better fitness outdoor cook ing first aid and safety out doors identifying nature and pressing flowers The girls will also be going on clubouting which for them will be an over night campoul The girls will be displaying the different things they have done at their achieve ment night on July 12 at Innisfil Centennial Park GILFORD WI Gilford Womens Institute members and friends went on an trip to Collingwood on Tuesday June 19 This trip as planned by the Tweedsmuir History Convener Helen Bell and we visited former farm home and museum of Bygone Days There were farm animals there housed with the old furniture and old household utensils There was church school and store there The former Wm Akers chapp ing mill was an item of interest picnic lunch was enjoyed on the lawn followed by short in stitute business meeting con ducted by the president Sandra Kell Reports from the district annual were given by Hazel Weyman
