Canadian International Fastball Tournament in gruelling extrainnings loss to Saginaw Mich but the ova tion was ample reward for three spectacular per formances which left the teams critics in awe They werent supposd to do what they did Organizers of the prestigious tournament which attracted topnotch entries from New York Chicago the Virgin Islands and the Bahamas had told Church coach Murray Perry weeks before the event that they were anxious about his clubs ability to compete But compete they did The record shows Church opened with 20 loss to Saginaw pitcher Kevin Herlihy New Zealander who throws riseball more than 100 miles an hour comes with $25000 plus house and car price tag and is touted as the best righthanded softball tosser in the world McFadden pitched threehitter Herlihy
