Cambridge can boast that it hosts the Miss Nude World Pageant The loth annual pageant will be held at the Leisure Lodge in Cambridge from July 20 to 22 may this year According to the organizers of the event this years pageant will incorporate new wrinkle giant garage sale to be held on the last two days of the competition Garage sales and nude beauty pageants seem like an odd combination Carl Alkertan organizer of the pageant says the idea for the sale came from local resident Alkertan is quoted in recent press release as saying the garage salewouldbe putting money residents which would give small boost to the area economy Times must begive boost to the local economy Perhaps the pageant organizer feels the sale is necessary goodwill gesture to pacify residents upset by the idea of naked women competing for prizes in their hometown But wonder whether the sale may detract from the im pact of the pageant If you had to choose between bargain riccd leftovers from someones garage and parade of autiful women in bathing suits which would you pick is Its difficult choice made all the more difficult when the bathing suits become birthday suits as Alkertan so cute ly phrases it The
