show prize handmade quilt by former Barrie craftsman was one of the winning entires in recent craft competition held in North Bay David Dusoms quilt won the Contemporary Use of Tradi tional Techniques and Design award Dusome receives $50 from the North Bay Craft Association and an additional $50 from the Sudbury Craft Foundation The North Bay craft show was one of several sponsored throughout the province by the Ontario Craft Council Dusomes quilt was one of the 200 craft items exhibited at the NorthBay city hall The winning entires in the North Bay show travel to Toronto this summer for display at the Toronto Dominion Centre and the Cana dian National Exhibition Dusonic who was born and educated in Barrie lives in North Bay He studied at Seneca College and Georgian College Magic show Friday night Ron Oliver magician from the Barrie area presents Do You Believe in Magic show for children and adults at Codrington Street Public School Friday evening Olivers show of magic and il
