for the Univerity of British Colum bia makes final desperate voyage in search of the minerals He knows that his career depends on the success of the exploration trip if he doesnt find something the university will cut his research funds and chain him to desk for the rest of his academic MARGARET TRUDEAU shes bore Mrs Trudeau makes very clear that the prime minister quite sensibly from his point but the letters sort of took over and in the end there was nothing but letters The principal correspondent is one McLaughlin fearing the approach of his 40th birthday while also frantically dotty professor and Francis Springer nick named Zinger an obstreperous adolescent 0f 40 who drinks and wemanizes and works on newspaper in Prince Albert Sask Theyre zany lot who revel in bawdy gossip
