- Georgetown ratepayers; apparently fairly evenly divided for and against a new agreement between Town and Delrex development. Charles Hildebrandt presented a petition. Mrs. John Cordaro protested any form of agreement. Her cry of discrimination was taken up by Mrs. H. N. Martyn. Councillor Fred Harrison; Mr. Hyde maintained suggestion of tax increase was alarmist propaganda. "It is the policy of this Council...to treat all taxpayers alike" Mayor Doug Sargetn said.
