business His enterprise was originally known as Les Cooke Ice and Cartage Forty years after the origmal bicycle trip Les reenacted the journey The three and half hours of 1938 became four hours and acquisition has been Newbury Transport and Supplies an importexport express company Les Cooke resigned as head of the firm at the age of 50 selling his business to number of employees Today he is
