provincial association It is time we as teachers turn our attention to those issues in our professional life which need at tention Margaret Wilson of the Ontario Secon dary School Teachers Federation told 200 teachers Thursday in Barrie for the annual meeting of the organizations Simcoe County district We will have to take stand at some pomt on the quality of the education being offered our kids she said CRITICIZES OFFICIALS In bristling speech Mrs Wilson critiCized ministry of education officials for questioning the Teachers right to strike is defended effectiveness of the secondary school system Though flawed the secondary system could be im proved she said during the meeting at the Army Navy Air Force Club Asked following the meeting if the federation believed the ministry was not doing its job at the secondary School level she said the provincial agency is disorganized The lack of organiza trotsl makes it tough on teachers Mis Wilson sai We are not serving the general level
