finally won their civil war in Nicaragua But the opposition will win This probably explains why junta of soldiers and civilians unseated Salvadorean president General Carlos Humberto Romero who ruthlessly resisted the rebel groups The junta promises elections and is clearly trying to forestall the same kind of complete victory for rebels which finally was achieved against Somoza and his henchmen in Nicaragua STILL IORE STRIPE But the leftwing groups know this and have continued the civil war just as strongly against the twoweek old junta However unlike Nicaragua there are signs the
